Career-Related Assessments:

Know Your Strengthstake the VIA (Values in Action) to understand your character strengths to optimize your individuality and personal and professional capacities.

You must register for the free assessment, but you can opt out of future emails from the organization. Once you have completed the assessment (it takes 20-30 minutes), print your five VIA Character Strengths and set up an appointment with the Career Services Director by emailing cbrooks@mca.edu to discuss them.

Know Your Personality…take the Kiersey Temperment Sorter to understand your personality attributes and how they relate to your professional life. Once you have completed the assessment (it takes 10-15 minutes), print the Kiersey Temperment Report and set up an appointment with the Career Services Director by emailing cbrooks@mca.edu to discuss them.

Students will find a companion book, Do what You Are: Discover the Perfect Career for You Through the Secrets of Personality Type in the MCA Library. This book offers career-related information about your personality type, including strengths for each type, occupation categories and job titles,  and pathways for success.
