Rising juniors and seniors can develop a portfolio in an intensive class designed to prepare them for the college application process. The wide variety of course selections enable you to find a good fit, whatever your child’s age, experience, skill level or interests might be. We are happy to assist you with making the appropriate selections for your child; just give us a call at 901-272-5142.

For high school juniors and seniors interested in a rigorous and focused study in visual art, this class provides the opportunity to develop techniques in drawing, 2D design and color. We will discuss some of the ways admission committees assess portfolios and provide you with a head start on preparing your college application. You will also learn to digitally document your artwork and gain experience in participating in critiques and writing an artist statement. Open to rising high school juniors and seniors. Full-day Summer Art Camp tuition applies. Equipment, supplies and lunch included.

Our instructors are enthusiastic about sharing the joy of art making with young people. Instructors are teaching artists with a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) Degree minimum. Many of our instructors hold higher degrees and/or teaching certificates. Most classes also have a dedicated adult teaching assistant, making the adult/child ratio no greater than 1 to 8. All Summer Art Camp instructors and staff are carefully screened and subjected to a thorough background check.
Tuition includes supplies and equipment. Exceptions, such as cameras for Digital Photography, are noted in the course descriptions. Full-day tuition includes lunch.
