Memphis College of Art Welcomes Sasha Barr
MEMPHIS, Tenn.—Memphis College of Art is eager to welcome illustrator Sasha Barr as part of its ongoing Visiting Artist Lecture Series. Barr will give a presentation titled “Filling in the Blanks” at an open-to-the-public, free event on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. in the Callicott Auditorium (Rust Hall, Overton Park).
Barr is a designer and illustrator in Seattle. He currently works in the art department at Sub Pop Records and as art director at Amigos Skateboards. To view some of Barr’s work, visit http://www.thisisthenewyear.com/.
