For high school juniors and seniors hoping to attend a post‐secondary art school, this course provides an opportunity to develop and prepare a portfolio for college applications. Students are introduced to advanced concepts in drawing and have the opportunity to enhance their art portfolio by doing a series of drawings from direct observation. This class will focus on traditional drawing techniques as well as place emphasis on what makes up a successful portfolio for any prospective college art major. Portfolio Development students will attend National Portfolio Day on October 11, 12–4 p.m., at Memphis College of Art. Instructor – Ezster Augustine-Sziksz. CE 1600
Sept. 27 – Nov. 8 (no class on Oct. 25) / 1–5 p.m.
Tuition: $275, includes all supplies and equipment needed for class.
