Students explore advanced problem solving through the creation of complex, multiple component designs incorporating several different processes. Friction fit and hinged lid boxes, tab and bezel set stones, and advanced silver soldering techniques like sweat soldering and marriage of metals are a few of the possible areas of exploration. Pre-requisite: completion of the Basic Metalsmithing (CE 3200) course or comparable working knowledge. CE 3201 / Register by Mar. 14
