The Enameling on Copper Weekender is a two-day concentrated course on various enameling techniques involving both torch and kiln firing. Techniques may include small dish and bowl forming, enameling and firing flat and three-dimensional objects, painting and drawing on glass, Sgraffito, stencil making, using rubber stamps, cutting and dapping discs for earrings necklaces and bracelets. For students with prior metals and/or enameling experience, the instructor will work with you individually to plan a personal project from start to finish. Students provide own safety glasses. Adult Continuing Education course (non-credit).
Saturday, Sept. 14, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. & Sunday, Sept. 15, 12–8 p.m.
