Memphis College of Art Announces Fall BFA Exhibition
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis College of Art announces the 2014 Fall BFA Exhibition, which will be on view from Nov. 25–Dec. 11 in the Main Gallery, Rust Hall, 1930 Poplar Ave., Overton Park. An opening reception is scheduled for Dec. 5, 6–8 p.m.
The exhibition features works from ten students in a variety of media including painting, illustration, sculpture and digital media. The 2014 Fall BFA candidates are LaKeishya Alexander, Arlington, TN; Nialah Brathwaite, New Orleans, LA; Christian Brown, New Orleans, LA; Meagan Chaudoin, Monroe, LA; Lauren Taylor, Florence, AL; Jade Thomas, Houston, TX; Nicole Trimble, Franklin, TN; Olivia Weldon, Alexander, AR; Bethany Wholihan, Bartlett, TN and Aminah Williams, Memphis, TN.
Rust Hall’s Main Gallery is open Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and Sunday noon – 4 p.m. Exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
