Spring Break Classes (Spring 2016)

For students ages 12-15.
Our spring break classes are one-session workshops designed for exploring new media or techniques that you’ve always wanted to try. Just for fun, these classes are great for learning something new in a relaxed setting.
$40 for each workshop or $140 for all four, supplies included | Register by March 14
Work in polymer clay to bring your sketches, ideas or the creatures inside your head to life as mini sculptures. Eric Quick, instructor Monday, March 21 / 1–4 p.m.
Explore painting techniques and effects unique to watercolors. If you ask the teacher nicely (and weather permitting), we’ll paint landscapes in the park. Eric Quick, instructor
Tuesday, March 22 / 1–4 p.m.
Learn the simple and versatile method of monotype printing. Learn about layering, composition and color theory and how to apply them to your works. J.T. Wilbanks, instructor
Wednesday, March 23 / 1 –4 p.m.
Photo Safari: Zoo
Go on location with a professional photographer to receive training, tips and tricks for creating photographs that will set you apart from the pack. You can bring your fancy camera or use your smart phone, tablet, or whatever. Matt Ivey, instructor
