About the Program

Your young artist can be part of a focused effort in a concentration of their choice to enhance skills and abilities.

Saturday School has been a beloved Memphis tradition for over 80 years. Many of our current students have parents or grandparents who attended the program as children. Many of our undergraduates, teaching artists and alumni participated in our youth programs when they were young artists themselves.

Class sizes are small by design, allowing for individualized attention to each student’s unique skills and abilities. We offer qualified teaching artists, inspiring media and excellent facilities. As the only independent, fully accredited professional art and design institution in Memphis, we are uniquely experienced to guide young emerging artists, nurturing in them a love for the arts and an appreciation for lifelong learning.

All supplies and equipment included in tuition.

*Students age 16 and above may also choose to participate in our Adult Continuing Education classes.
