A few short years ago, Memphis College of Art’s Alumni Association was reorganized and revitalized. Ambitious plans were developed to initiate and maintain a dynamic and effective association. Bylaws were drafted, officers were elected, and the first Alumni Association meeting in over four years was held on February 27, 2004. At this momentous meeting, the commitment to build a lifelong relationship between Memphis College of Art and its graduates was forged.

Today, alumni on record total nearly 2,000. MCA alumni can be found in nearly every state and many foreign countries. We have established an Online Directory so that Association members can stay in touch with each other. An Online Gallery is also available to all Association members – a site where alums can post their own work and view the work of their classmates.

An Alumni Gallery, available to all Association members, has been established in Rust Hall. The first, very successful alumni exhibition in this newly acquired space was held in the spring of 2009, and we plan to continue to exhibit alumni work permanently.

Reunion events are constantly being planned and organized by your volunteer governing Board of Directors. We welcome your ideas on how we can strengthen our Association – activities you would like to see planned, benefits you would like to see implemented, anything.  Send us your thoughts. Together, we can continue the success of the MCA Alumni Association!
