Holiday Bazaar 2016

• Overton Park Conservancy is seeking artists to participate in our annual Day of Merrymaking family festival on the Greensward (Saturday, October 6, 10:00am – 3:00pm). The festival attracts thousands of Memphians for a day of live music, dance, games, art, and dog-themed activities from presenting sponsor Hollywood Feed. Festival admission is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring cash to donate to Overton Park Conservancy and shop at our artist market. A 10’x10′ booth space is $75, and a 10’x20’ booth space is $100. For information on reserving a place at this event, visit or call 901-214-5450. Submission deadline is September 28.

• Beale Street Artcrawl welcomes artists from Memphis, Nashville and surrounding areas. Submissions are accepted from artists in all mediums. Submission Requirements: Email Full name, Phone Number, Images along with description of art medium used to create art, social links and website if applicable to Deadline of submission will be announced once slots have filled. Call for Submissions: The Art of Addiction. A local addiction recovery advocacy group (A Betor Way), is accepting submissions for its art show, The Art of Addition. They are seeking art in any medium from artists affected by, or struggling with, addiction issues. Themes include empowerment, understanding, acceptance, and recovery. Submit photos or art proposals to Submission deadline is August 15. Show is September 8 and all sales proceeds go directly to the artist.

• The Call for Entries for the Creativity International Awards is now open. Submission deadline for Print awards is September 14. Student entries are accepted in all categories. Click here for more infomration.

• Heritage for Planet Earth Photo Contest. The contest is open all year from January 1, 2018 to December 21, 2018, and gives out monthly awards and a yearly final award. Entries must connect the themes of heritage, travel, dialogue and respect for cultural diversities and our Planet Earth in a picture. Click here for more information.
