Don DuMont has over 20 years experience in the Art and Design field including art direction with Walker and Associates Advertising (Memphis, TN) and U.S. Glass Publication (Chicago, IL). He is the sole proprietor and graphic designer for Don DuMont Design. His clients have included Methodist Hospital, Smith + Nephew and Brooks Museum of Art. Don is also the director of MCA's unique and beloved Horn Island program, which takes a group of students and alumni to the barrier reef island each May on a 10-day trip, which results in an exhibition in the Main Gallery in the fall. The program will soon celebrate 33 years in May 2017.

In 2015, Don was the recipient of the NICHE Award in the carved/turned wood category.
