Adam Hawk teaches Metalsmithing, Sculpture, 3D Printing, and Foundations courses, as well as co-directs MCA’s Spring Travel Abroad Workshop. Hawk’s current work is a response to forms found in both urban and natural settings focusing on the theoretical ideals of art versus craft. His work has recently been exhibited at the National Ornamental Metal Museum (where he has served as Lead Metalsmith), Appalachian Center for Crafts, Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum and the Fuller Craft Museum. In addition to his degrees in Metalsmithing and Blacksmithing, Hawk also holds a BFA in Computer Fine Arts.
