Four professors from the Guangxi Arts Institute in Nanning, China will visit the MCA campus from July 20-27 as part of the Studio Nong residency.
Works by MCA alumna Chloe York are currently featured at the James Lee House, 690 Adams Avenue, through July 31, with a reception on July 9 at 5:30 p.m.
INSIDE OUT comes to Memphis today, as an installation of photos of artists/teachers titled “Art Saves Lives” goes on view at the Masonic Lodge, 154 G.E. Patterson Ave. in the South Main Arts District.
MCA presents “It Starts with Pink: A Case Study” by Katie Benjamin, on view May 16 through July 27 in the Alumni Gallery. An opening reception will be held on Friday, May 22, 6–8 p.m.
MCA announces the opening of Brittany Wilder’s exhibition, “Welcome to the Dollhouse,” at Playhouse on the Square, 66 S. Cooper St. The exhibition will be on view April 30–June 7.
